The Saskatoon Police Service has charged four people with a total of 54 charges after pulling over a vehicle Monday morning.
In a media release, police say officers stopped a suspicious vehicle in the area of Stanley Place and Idylwyld Drive at about 2:20 a.m.
An officer recognized one of the passengers, who was wanted on an outstanding warrant. As officers took the 24-year-old man into custody, they found a gun in his possession. That prompted officers to arrest all four people in the vehicle.
A search of the vehicle found another gun, ammunition and two machetes.
After taking the group to headquarters, officers also found fentanyl, methamphetamine and crack cocaine in the possession of a 40-year-old man.
Two men and two women were charged with a variety of offences.
