North Battleford RCMP and the Moosomin First Nation Chief and Council are asking the public to help locate 26-year-old Jonathan Christopher Swiftwolfe from Moosomin First Nation, SK.
Swiftwolfe has been evading police since being charged for breaching his probation conditions on April 18, 2020.
North Battleford RCMP are concerned for the safety of the residents of Moosomin First Nation while Jonathan Swiftwolfe remains at large. He is considered armed and dangerous, and a top priority for police officers and the community to locate and arrest him as quickly as possible.
“The safety and security of Band members on the Moosomin First Nation is the primary concern for Chief and Council. A peaceful end to this situation involving Jonathan is hoped for,” Chief of the Moosomin First Nation, Bradley Swiftwolfe said in a statement.
onathan Swiftwolfe is described as 5’8” (178 cm) and weighing approximately 180 pounds (82 kg). He has short black hair and brown eyes. He has words tattooed on the right side of his face and neck: “Westside” above his eye, “1994” on his cheek, and other tattoos on his jaw and neck.
He is known to frequent the Moosomin First Nation and North Battleford areas in Saskatchewan.

Jonathan Swiftwolfe is wanted on warrants for several charges, including:
- · Failure to comply with a probation order (7 counts), section 733.1(1) of the Criminal Code;
- · Possession of a weapon contrary to a probation order, section 117.01(3) of the Criminal Code;
- · Flight from police (2 counts), section 320.17 of the Criminal Code;
- · Assault (2 counts), section 266 of the Criminal Code;
- · Uttering threats (2 counts), section 264.1(1)(a) of the Criminal Code;
- · Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, section 320.17 of the Criminal Code;
- · Operation of a motor vehicle while prohibited, section 320.18(1)(b) of the Criminal Code;
- · Mischief, section 4340(4) of the Criminal Code;
- · Adult possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, Section 88(2) of the Criminal Code.
