As we still try to dig out from the Nov. 8 blizzard, another snowfall is wreaking havoc with the roads.
Saskatoon police say they have had reports of 17 collisions in the city since the snow began falling Thursday morning.
Julie Clark with the Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) says the snow is making the roads slick and slippery so drivers should slow down and give some extra space from the vehicle ahead.
With the accumulation of snow today, the streets around Saskatoon have become treacherous as have the highways surrounding the city. Police have responded to numerous collisions today. Please leave yourself extra time to get to your destination!

Clark says officers are also reporting that highways around the city are getting quite bad.
“If you don’t need to be out on the road today or tonight, maybe stay home,” Clark said.
In a call to 650 CKOM, Matt Williams says there was what looked to be a bad crash on Highway 5 Thursday afternoon.
Williams said he was heading west towards Saskatoon and said about 40 kilometres outside the city there was a vehicle on the north side of the highway that had gone down an embankment and ended up on its roof in a slough.
He said traffic was slowed down on the highway as first responders dealt with the incident.
Williams said there were some icy patches on the highway and blowing snow.
