Charlie Clark has been given a second mandate by the voters of Saskatoon defeating Rob Norris, Don Atchison, Cary Tarasoff, Zubair Sheikh and Mark Zielke in Friday’s civic election.
Clark came out strong early in the race and never lost momentum as the night wore on.
Ward 1
Incumbent Candidate Darren Hill is leading Kevin Boychuk, 1,122 votes to Boychuk’s 1,018. Aron Cory and Kyla Kitcul trail with 732 and 366 votes, respectively.
Ward 2
Incumbent Hilary Gough leads Rose Kasleder, 2,288 to 1,159.
Ward 3
Candidate David Kirton leads the eight candidates with 962 votes, Nick Sackville is trailing with 734 votes.

Ward 5
Incumbent candidate Randy Donauer leads candidate Paul Miazga, 4,003 to 1,505.
Ward 6
Incumbent candidate Cynthia Block leads with a vote count of 3,735. Candidates Jon Naylor and Lee Kormish have 1,192 and 1,145 votes, respectively.
Ward 7
Incumbent candidate Mairin Loewen leads candidates Jim Rhode 2,543 to 1,440, with Carol Reynolds and Darcy Warrington at 943 and 540, respectively.
Ward 8
Incumbent candidate Sarina Gersher leads candidate Brian Shalovelo, 1,961 to 1,341. Candidate Ron Mantyka has 624 votes.
Ward 9
Incumbent candidate Bev Dubois leads candidate Carla Shabaga, 2,240 to 1,372.
Ward 10
Incumbent candidate Zach Jeffries has a large lead on both candidates AJ Itterman and Anjum Saeed. Jeffries has 2,017 votes, 526 for Itterman and 270 for Saeed.
It’s been a very different election experience in Saskatoon this year.
Citizens went to the polls Monday as was planned, but a massive blizzard over the weekend made some roads impassable, so at 5 p.m. the city Returning Officer announced that voting would stop at 6:30 p.m. and the election would then take place Friday.
