Saskatoon police are investigating two separate dangerous weapons incidents in the city, one Tuesday afternoon and one early Wednesday morning.
In a release, police say at around 1:30 a.m., they received a report that a group of people had shot at a home in the King George neighbourhood.
When police arrived at the home in the 1000 block of Weldon Avenue, officers confirmed a window had been shot. No one was injured.
A canine track was conducted and the area was searched by patrol.
A resident in the area told officers a man with a machete was seen trying to hide on their driveway.
Police found the man behind a boat in the 900 block of Weldon Avenue. He was arrested without incident and found with a machete sheath on him.
The machete was found hidden nearby.
A 32-year-old man is charged with carrying a dangerous weapon.
The investigation is ongoing and the incident is not believed to be random.

Late Tuesday afternoon, police responded to a weapons call at a restaurant in the 700 block of 22nd Street West.
In a release, police say at around 5:20 p.m., patrol members were sent to the restaurant after staff reported a man inside was waving a knife, shouting and acting erratically, but not directly threatening anyone.
When police arrived, the man had fled onto 22nd Street.
After a brief altercation, he was taken into custody without further incident.
The suspect was believed to be under the influence of methamphetamine. Officers found and seized a knife from his possession.
A 40-year-old man is charged with carrying a dangerous weapon and carrying a concealed weapon. He was also found to have several outstanding warrants.
