A 25-year-old man is facing charges after an incident Sunday morning and another from Sept. 29.
In a release, police say at about 12:15 a.m. Sunday they responded to a complaint of a disturbance in the 10 block of Sixth Street East.
When they arrived, police recognized a man known to be wanted in connection to an assault that happened on Sept. 29. The man was arrested and taken into custody.
At around 9:30 p.m. Sept. 29, police were dispatched to a grocery store in the 1500 block of Eighth Street East.
Initial reports stated that a man had been stabbed prior to the suspects fleeing. When police arrived, they found a 34-year-old man suffering from what were believed to be minor injuries.
The victim said he had parked and exited a delivery vehicle near the store when he was approached by two men.
The men demanded his wallet while threatening to hurt him. The victim was hit by one of the suspects with a sharp object before they took off on foot.
The victim was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The 25-year-old man has been charged with robbery.
