A close call for two police officers in the downtown core Wednesday night.
Their unmarked patrol car was making a left hand turn at 4th Ave S at 21st St E when it was struck by a southbound vehicle. The vehicle immediately took off.
Police said the vehicle ran several red lights before it was stopped at Broadway Ave and 10th Street.
The driver, a 54-year-old man, was arrested without incident and is charged with impaired driving.
There were no injuries in the collision.
