A 17-year-old girl is facing two impaired driving-related charges and a charge of dangerous driving after an early-morning incident Wednesday that ended in the downtown area.
At around 1:45 a.m., Saskatoon police received several calls reporting a small blue vehicle being driven erratically on Warman Road.
In a release, police say they received subsequent calls that the vehicle had rolled in the 800 block of Second Avenue North.
Witnesses said that several people had been seen fleeing the vehicle and that the vehicle was blocking traffic.
When police arrived, one person was found inside the vehicle and they were transported to hospital with what are believed to be minor injuries.
Patrol officers found the suspect driver at a convenience store in the 400 block of Third Avenue North. She was found to be impaired and taken into custody without incident.
