Saskatoon Police have charged one man with numerous drug-related charges after vehicles were damaged and a gun was fired in Evergreen on Tuesday.
Officers were called to the 200 block of Akhtar bend with reports of a person vandalizing vehicles at 1:50 a.m. Tuesday morning, according to a police news release.
Shortly afterwards, officers noticed two people leaving an apartment as a gun was fired. Shell cases on the ground led officers to realize the front door of an apartment unit was left open. No one was found inside but a “significant” amount of magic mushrooms, or psilocybin, was seen.
After getting a search warrant, police returned Tuesday night and found more magic mushrooms, THC capsules, extracts, cocaine, suspected heroin, MDMA, $480 in cash and electronics, in addition to glass jars and other Rubbermaid containers to grow magic mushrooms.
A 25-year-old man is charged with numerous charges, including the production of psilocybin, possession of cocaine, heroin, LSD and MDMA.
