A 23-year-old woman was sent to hospital after an altercation resulted in a stabbing in the Pleasant Hill area Wednesday afternoon.
In a release, police say at about 2:45 p.m., a member of the Bike Unit was in the 1500 block of 19th Street West when he saw an altercation between three women. One of the women then took off on a bicycle.
Further investigation found one of the other women was suffering from a stab wound.
Other responding officers found the suspect at the intersection of 17th Street West and Avenue F South.
The 32-year-old woman was found to be in possession of two knives and was charged with aggravated assault and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
