The Saskatchewan Health Authority is extending the dates of its advisory about a possible COVID-19 exposure in Turtleford.
The SHA initially warned people who had been to the SARCAN depot on Third Avenue South between Aug. 4 and Aug. 6 to self-monitor for symptoms. Now, after further investigation, the authority says the length of time for potential exposure is between Aug. 4 and Aug. 14.
Some of the symptoms of COVID-19 include fever, cough and trouble breathing.
People should self-monitor for 14 days from the last date they were at the depot. They should also seek a testing referral by calling HealthLine 811 if they experience symptoms.
