The RCMP says it made a significant seizure of alcohol from a boat on Sunday near Wollaston Lake.
In a release, the RCMP says a boat was stopped after having come from Barge Landing and docking at Hatchet Lake Dene Nation near the community of Wollaston Lake.
The investigation revealed a large amount of alcohol may have been on board for potential resale within the community.
Barge Landing provides a link between Highway 905 and Wollaston Lake. That community is about 700 kilometres north of Prince Albert.
The Mounties say there were four adults on the boat and a substantial amount of alcohol was found and seized as part of a search.
That included 58 bottles of hard liquor and various other bottles and cans of liquor.
All four adults were charged with sell or offer to sell, display or keep beverage alcohol under the Alcohol and Gaming Regulations Act.
