A 61-year-old man is facing six weapons charges after he was found walking around with a gun Tuesday evening.
The Saskatoon Police Service says it got a call at around 8:10 p.m., about a man carrying a gun in the 1900 block of McKercher Drive.
Officers were able to de-escalate the situation and arrest the man. The handgun he was carrying was seized, as were other firearms.
No one was injured.
The man is to appear in court Wednesday.
