"We're throwing well, and I don't see why we can't win this thing," said Colton Flasch.
Saskatoon police have arrested and charged three people in connection to the city’s latest homicide.
Two men — aged 25 and 18 — and a 20-year-old woman have all been charged with second-degree murder.
Police began receiving calls of a shooting in the 100 block of Avenue K South just after midnight on Saturday.
With the help of officers on the ground, the K9 unit, air support unit and the tactical support unit, officers were not only able to “mitigate this high-risk situation, but also track and apprehend all those involved and recover significant evidence,” according to a police news release.
Investigators do not believe this attack was random. All three of the accused have seen a justice of the peace and will appear in court Monday morning.
