"We're throwing well, and I don't see why we can't win this thing," said Colton Flasch.
Saskatoon police responding to a disturbance call on the 1700 block of 11th Street West on Friday night discovered the suspect had an outstanding warrant.
Officers arrived at approximately 11:44 p.m. for reports of a man causing a disturbance at a home and discovered it was someone with an outstanding warrant.
When they tried to arrest him he became aggressive and at one point grabbed an officers duty belt, police said in a media release.
Police used a taser and arrested him.
The man faces charges of resisting arrest and breach of probation. He also faces a theft under $5,000 charge from the outstanding warrant.
Because of the use of a taser the incident will be reviewed.
