Three men are facing numerous drug-related charges after police made two traffic stops in the Confederation area.
Police say officers observed activity consistent with drug trafficking in the Confederation Mall parking lot and, as a result, made two traffic stops.
Police arrested two men and located $4,275 in cash and three cellphones in one vehicle.
A 28-year-old man was arrested from the second traffic stop and officers found a total of 2.1 grams of cocaine packaged for distribution.
As a result of the traffic stops, two search warrants were executed. At an apartment in the 900 block of Duchess Street, police located and seized:
- 403.74 grams of heroin
- 250 grams of soft cocaine
- 472 grams of a cutting agent
- $2,415 in cash
- A money-counting machine
- Drug paraphernalia and packaging consistent with drug trafficking.
In a hotel room in the 100 block of Circle Drive West, police located and seized:
- 298.5 grams of soft cocaine
- 73.9 grams of hard cocaine
- $17,240 in cash, scales
- Two cellphones
- Packaging consistent with drug trafficking.
A 41-year-old man is charged with trafficking cocaine, possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine and heroin, and possession of the proceeds of crime over $5,000.
A 40-year-old man is charged with trafficking cocaine, possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine and possession of the proceeds of crime over $5,000.
A 28-year-old man is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine.
