Saskatoon police are releasing a surveillance video in the hope it will help them find who’s responsible for the death of a 19-year-old woman.
Tanya Alcrow was killed in the early hours of April 13 after she was shot near the intersection of Avenue T and 21st Street.
Police say, through surveillance video and investigation, a dark-coloured truck has been identified as being involved. The truck was parked on Avenue T facing north at the time of the shooting.
Witnesses reported to police that Alcrow was approaching the truck when she sustained a gunshot wound. The truck stayed parked for almost one minute after the shooting, then travelled north toward 22nd Street.
Anyone with information is asked to call Saskatoon police at 306-975-8300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
