It was an eventful Saturday morning for the Saskatoon Fire Department.
They got a call at around 6:46 a.m. about a home on fire in the 300 block of Avenue S South. When they got to the home there was a small fire on the outside of the structure.
As crews combed through the inside, they found the lone occupant who they say refused to leave. Saskatoon police were called in to remove the person.
The fire was brought under control in less than 10 minutes.
No one was hurt and so far no word on how the fire started.
