Saskatoon police say two women were arrested Monday after a third woman was found injured in a home on Avenue R South.
At around 8 a.m., police responded to an apartment in the 300 block of Avenue R South for a reported stabbing.
Police found a 41-year-old woman in the home who was bound and injured.
She was transported to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Two women who were also in the home were arrested.
It was reported that a number of suspects had entered the home and threatened the victim with a knife, tied her up and beat her.
Police say the incident is not random in nature.
Two women, ages 32 and 35, are charged with aggravated assault, aggravated assault with a weapon, forcible confinement, uttering threats and possession of a dangerous weapon.
