Police say a 36-year-old man has been arrested following an investigation into an assault and forcible confinement at a Saskatoon motel last week.
Police say two men, ages 38 and 45, were unlawfully confined and assaulted at a motel in the 600 block of Idylwyld Drive by three men on May 5.
The 38-year-old man was seriously assaulted with a hammer and had to be treated in hospital.
The 36-year-old man who was arrested is charged with aggravated assault, break and enter, assault, forcible confinement, theft under $5,000 and uttering threats.
Police say two other suspects are still at large.
One is described as being in his late 20s or early 30s, about 6-foot-1 with a stocky build. He was reported to have a noticeable mark or tattoo on his left cheek, and was wearing all black.
The other man is described as being in his early 20s, about 5-foot-11 with a thin build and tattoos on his arms. He was last seen wearing a long black T-shirt, black pants and a black hat.
