'Start of something special': Riders use garbage bag day to reflect on 2024

The locker room was full of optimism for the future of the organization on Sunday.
A Saskatoon police officer tasered a dog while responding to a report of a domestic dispute at a home in the 300 block of Avenue J North on Sunday.
Police say when the officers arrived on the scene, they encountered the residents outside of the home, as well as a large dog that police say was acting agitated.
The dog broke free from the owners and ran at the officers, biting one of them in the leg. The officer was able to subdue the dog by using a taser.
The dog was not hurt and went into the residence. The officer suffered a minor injury.
The incident will be reviewed in accordance with policy.
