Delta Airlines is officially suspending its Minneapolis-Saskatoon flights, as the company attempts to reduce its service around the world in the face of COVID-19.
The company said in a release on Friday that service would be halted to Saskatoon’s John G. Diefenbaker International Airport as of Wednesday. Delta is also stopping flights to 10 American airports.
Service isn’t expected to return until at least September.
Delta said in the release the company is working to reduce flights by 85 per cent in total, including cutting 90 per cent of its international flights.
The Saskatoon-Minneapolis flights had already been reduced from the once-daily schedule.
