Previously, WHL players were declared ineligible to play NCAA hockey in the U.S.
A truck driver found himself on the pavement after his semi truck and trailer tipped over early Thursday morning.
The accident occurred after 3 a.m. on 71st Street near Flaman Sales and Rentals.
“He got bounced around a little bit, but he says he’s fine,” said Brad Stratychuk with Brad’s Towing who responded to remove the semi and trailer from the road.

As of 8 a.m. tow truck crews were still on scene and traffic on 71st Street was partially restricted.
No word on what caused the accident.
