Two Saskatoon men, ages 30 and 50, are facing more than 45 charges following a report of suspicious activity in the 2100 block of St. Andrews Avenue.
At approximately 7:40 p.m. Monday, police received a report of activity involving a Jeep Compass parked in the area.
Upon arrival, officers located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop in the 1900 block of Herman Avenue.
Two men were inside the vehicle along with open liquor. A search of the vehicle resulted in officers locating a sawed-off 12-gauge shotgun, a machete, bear spray, a starter’s pistol, a concrete nail gun, a small quantity of methamphetamine and cocaine, various rounds of ammunition and several pieces of identity documentation belonging to other people.
The men are facing charges including possession of methamphetamine, possession of cocaine, several counts of possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace, possession of identity documentation, and several firearm-related charges.
