Three teens aged 16, 14 and 13 face a number of charges after an incident Monday morning involving a stolen vehicle and an attempt to evade police.
At around 11:20 a.m., police observed a black Dodge Ram truck at 33rd Street West and Avenue H North which had an incorrect licence plate.
The driver turned down an alley in the 1100 block of Avenue F North and police say three suspects got out of the truck and ran. They were taken into custody nearby.
One of them was in possession of brass knuckles.
Several fences in the neighbourhood were damaged by the suspects.
Police determined the truck had been stolen by using the keys that were left inside another truck that had been previously stolen.
The teens face several charges including possession of stolen property over $5,000, possession of a dangerous weapon, mischief and breach of probation.
