Saskatoon police have arrested and charged two women after they allegedly stole some items from a southend business and stabbed a loss prevention officer on their way out.
The police service didn’t say what time the alleged incidents happened, except that they were on the 3000 block of Clarence Ave. South.
A media release from police said the women “were caught shoplifting at a business … A Loss Prevention Officer caught the women and attempted to apprehend them. One of the women stabbed the LPO in the arm.”
A 58-year-old woman is now charged with armed robbery, two counts of fail to comply with a court order and had warrants for her arrest from Regina.
A 52-year-old woman is charged with theft under $5000.
The pair will appear in court on Monday.
