Tyler Seeley, 34, is now facing two charges of drunk driving causing death, along with other alcohol-related charges, after a head-on crash between two pick-up trucks on Highway 41 on Jan. 23.
The crash killed a 67-year-old woman, and the 74-year-old driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries. RCMP confirmed to 650 CKOM on Thursday the man recently passed away resulting in the upgraded charges.
