Saskatoon police need help to locate a suspect in a Monday morning assault in the city’s north-west end.
An 18-year-old woman reported being grabbed from behind around 8:45 a.m. while walking in the pedestrian tunnel under Circle Drive connecting Avenue W North to Marlborough Crescent.
She told police there was an altercation before she was able to run away.
In a media release, police described the suspect as being caucasian, standing five feet 10 inches to six feet tall with an average build.
He spoke to the victim in a deep voice in a language she said she couldn’t understand.
At the time of the assault, he was wearing blue jeans, a dark blue sweater with a hood up and a black neck warmer pulled up over the lower half of his face, the media release said.
He had black hair sticking out from under the hood with bushy eyebrows and brown eyes.
The suspect may have sores on his hands, according to police.
