As police search for the people responsible for an early morning armed robbery in Prince Albert, a 65-year-old man is sharing more about his encounter.
For the purpose of anonymity paNOW has chosen not to identify him. The incident happened around 8:10 a.m. on Monday in the parking lot behind the Gateway Mall food court.
“I just saw a dark, black truck pull in behind me so I locked my vehicle. Then a guy jumped out with a shotgun, put it in my face and said ‘Give me your [expletive] keys’ so I just threw my keys and took off,” he said, recalling two passengers in the truck.
His 2005 Honda CRV was found abandoned later in the day on Sturgeon Lake First Nation.
While he wasn’t hurt, he was left shaken up by what happened.
“Oh it was scary. I’ve never seen a shotgun from that angle.”
