The Saskatoon Police Service is joining Calgary police in the search for 24-year-old Mohamed Hussein Ahmed.
Police believe Ahmed may be in Saskatoon following the murder of 23-year-old Farah Hersi Handule.
Calgary police responded to a call of shots being fired around 9 p.m. on Boxing Day and discovered Handule’s body.
After multiple attempts to contact Ahmed, who they say could have information in the death, police believe he may have come to Saskatoon.
It’s believed Ahmed is likely either travelling in a white 2019 Dodge Durango GT or a small black car.
