Fireworks at home on New Year’s
If you’re celebrating at home this New Years and decide to set off some fireworks, the Saskatoon Fire Department has some safe practices to follow.
In a release, the fire department said low-hazard fireworks can be be discharged on private property, between dusk New Year’s Eve and 12:15 a.m. New Year’s Day.
The fireworks designed for public use include candles and sparklers and travel less than 50 metres high.
