Two Saskatoon men will likely be spending Christmas in hospital after they were stabbed early Tuesday morning, and police say the two incidents may be connected.
Officers were first called to a home on 33rd St. West. at about 2:30 a.m. where they found a 23-year-old man with a stab wound. He was taken to hospital with a serious but not life-threatening injury.
The second incident happened just a half-hour later, when police were called to a home in the 1300-block of Idylwyld Drive North. Police said a 31-year-old man at that address was found suffering stab wounds along with the effects of pepper spray. The victim was taken to hospital, and his injuries were also described as serious but not life-threatening.
Police said they don’t have descriptions of any suspects, but are looking into the possibility that the two incidents were related.
