An unidentified woman has been found dead along Highway 102 in northern Saskatchewan.
Her body was discovered Monday around 5:30 a.m. about eight kilometres north of La Ronge.
Police said it is an Indigenous woman who appears to be between the ages of 20 and 30 years old. She has shoulder length brown hair that has slight red highlights and is wearing a blue colored Toronto Blue Jays hoodie and green sweat pants.
The Forensic Identification section from Prince Albert is assisting local RCMP and major crimes with the investigation.
Highway 102 is open but will be restricted to one lane for several hours as police investigate.
