The Rams play the Laval Rouge et Or in the Mitchell Bowl Saturday for a spot in the 2024 Vanier Cup.
Saskatoon police are looking for two suspects following the discovery of a suspicious backpack Monday afternoon.
Around 4:15 p.m. a resident at an apartment building on the 300 block of Keevil Crescent reported hearing a noise and spotting a backpack lying on the grass near a fence.
The resident told police they saw two men in all black with hoods up walking away from the area.
In a media release, police said, the resident looked inside the backpack and saw a gun.
They then witnessed who they believed to be the two suspects looking over the fence before walking away again.
Responding officers found a sawed-off shotgun in pieces and various types of ammunition inside the backpack.
