Saskatoon police are asking for help to locate a suspect in an assault and car robbery.
Around 10:40 p.m. Thursday police officers responded to a call about a man injured in an alley on the 100 block of Avenue T South.
The 37-year-old was transported to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Officers determined the man was in his 2012 black Chevrolet Impala when an altercation started with a passenger.
According to police, the passenger assaulted the driver then stole the keys and vehicle.
Police describe the suspect as Caucasian between 20 and 30 years old with short hair which is possibly shaved on the sides.
At the time of the assault, he was wearing a light coloured sweater with dark pants and dark shoes with white soles and light laces, according to police.
He may go by the name Jamie.
