It’s the last chance to see a music legend play in Saskatoon.
Elton John will break out the hits for two shows at SaskTel Centre on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The British musician who preformed twice before in the Bridge City announced in 2018 this is set to be his final tour.
Elton’s tour manager DC Parmet told 650 CKOM’s Brent Loucks that fans will be dazzled by the show.
“It’s an amazing show. It’s an incredibly visual show. It’s the perfect farewell for Elton,” Parmet said.
“He’s going out on top. It’s like winning the Super Bowl everyday and then retiring after that.”
The “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” tour consists of more than 300 dates worldwide. Parmet said he will miss the road they’ve shared together for 22 years.
“I’ve worked with him so long you just think it will go on forever sometimes. But all good things must come to end.”
The doors open each night at 6:30 p.m. with the show beginning at 8 p.m. Before each show a souvenir stand will be available outside the arena.
There will be a park-and-ride service available at Lawson Heights Mall, Centre Mall, Market Mall, and Confederation Mall, and also at 23rd Street and 2nd Avenue.
