In its fourth year, Saskatoon’s Retro Game and Toy Fair continues to grow with more vendors and items for visitors to take in and fuel their nostalgia.
The fair started when organizer Travis Beaudry decided he was going to get rid of a few of his toys and games, and struggled to find a place to sell.
“In Saskatoon, I set up at the flea market and at a coin and collectible show. (Everyone) looked at me weird because I was selling games and toys — then, I decided I’d just do one myself,” he said.

Beaudry said the market continues to grow, and they’ve expanded to twice a year in Saskatoon — on top of holding one in Regina.
With video games, comic books, action figures and various retro collectibles, he said there’s something for kids big and small.
“When you’re a kid, you want this and that, but you can’t have it all. Now, you’re an adult and you can do whatever you want,” he said.
The fair ends at 5 p.m. Sunday at Saskatoon’s German Cultural Club.
