The city of Saskatoon is warning drivers to avoid 22nd Street and Idylwyld Wednesday.
Traffic at the major intersection is heavily restricted this morning while crews finish patching the road after Sask Energy completed repairs on a leaky natural gas valve.

Sask Energy said the source of the leak was an isolation valve that failed. Isolation valves are used for maintenance purposes, or during an emergency line hit to shut off gas to certain area.
The traffic restrictions are expected to be lifted sometime Wednesday afternoon, the city said.
