It’s based on a recent video of the online gamer during a streaming session on the Twitch platform, in which she appears to throw a cat over her head.
Alinity, who boasts over 889,000 followers on her video game channel, drew the ire of several people after the incident. At least one Twitter user flagged the video clip for the Saskatoon SPCA.
Animal rights group PETA called for her removal from the Twitch platform altogether.
ATTENTION: @TwitchSupport,
Take a stand for cats & please remove Alinity from @Twitch immediately. She is using the platform to post animal abuse, which sends a dangerous message to anyone watching her videos. Cats are not props to abuse for more views 🐱pic.twitter.com/EsIsB5o6Tf

Following the backlash on social media another video, from 2018, surfaced in which she takes a sip from a vodka bottle and seems to put some in the cat’s mouth.
Alinity also spit vodka into her cat’s mouth. This is clear animal abuse. @peta @TwitchSupport pic.twitter.com/Sljag7Fr42

“I understand the concern and I am sorry for my lapse in judgement,” Alinity said on Friday in a Twitter thread.
“I shouldn’t have gotten frustrated with Milo, but I dropped him on the floor behind my chair. I’m not that strong.”
She went on to say her animals are well-loved and cared for and promised to comply with any authority that wants to validate the claim.
Hey everyone, I understand the concern and I am sorry for my lapses in judgement. I shouldnt have gotten frustrated with Milo, but I dropped him on the floor behind my chair. I'm not that strong 😛 . The Vodka thing was well over a year ago but it was also a stupid thing to do.
