New research from finance and lifestyle website finder.com finds Saskatchewan isn’t a big draw for people looking for affordable homes.
In the list of 22 cities, Regina ranks last while Saskatoon is 19th.
Finder.com found 54 per cent of Canadians would consider moving to a new city if they were able to afford a home there.
Despite being one of the most expensive real estate markets in the country Toronto tops the company’s list.
The survey, which polled 1,200 people, found younger generations were most likely to change their location for the right housing opportunities.
Just under 70 per cent of millenials (defined as people aged 25 to 34 years old in the survey) and 85 per cent of gen Zers (defined as people aged 18 to 24 years old in the survey) were willing to relocate.
