Police have laid charges against two people in relation to a collision near the south east Costco on Monday afternoon.
According to police, an SUV was stopped waiting to turn left when it was struck from behind by a pick-up truck at Zimmerman Road and Highway 16.
Responding officers located a shotgun on the floor of the truck and it’s male passenger was found to be in possession of methamphetamine.
The female driver of the truck was not injured, however the passenger suffered non life-threatening injuries and remains in hospital.
Two occupants in the SUV were transported to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
A 21 year old woman and a 34 year old man from Saskatoon, are facing a number of firearm related charges. The man is also facing a charge of possession of methamphetamine.
