Firefighters and tow truck operators took just over two hours to finish a river rescue Sunday.
Fire crews responded to the Spadina Crescent public boat launch around 4:45 p.m. after a pickup truck and boat trailer slid into the South Saskatchewan River.
Hook cables were used to pull the trailer out first, followed by the truck.
A fire department media release said no one was injured.
The cause of the incident is still under investigation
