Police have promised to continue their long weekend enforcement with additional check stops. New mandatory alcohol screening laws means any drivers pulled over could be asked to give a breath sample. Exceeding blood alcohol content of .04, or having any amount of drugs in your system will result in an immediate suspension and having your vehicle impounded.
