Saskatoon police are looking for information after a 15-year-old girl reported being attacked in an alley in the Massey Place neighbourhood.
Police said in a media release that the girl was walking in an alley Monday evening on the 3200 block of Milton Street, just north of Confederation Mall.
That’s when they say a man pulled up in a pickup truck and offered her a ride. When she refused, the man allegedly got out and struck the girl twice before attempting to force her into the vehicle.
Police said the girl hit the man with her skateboard and ran away.
The girl was found to be suffering from minor injuries after being checked by a paramedic at Saskatoon police headquarters when she filed her report.
The suspect is described as an approximately 50-year-old man, about six feet tall with a medium build, grey hair and a grey-and-white mustache with stubble. He was reportedly wearing a black jacket and black pants at the time of the incident and was seen driving a white 2016 Dodge Ram with an Alberta licence plate.
Anyone with information was asked to call the Saskatoon Police Service at 306-975-8300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
