A man faces impaired driving charges after a head-on crash on Saskatoon’s traffic bridge.
The fire department, Medavie Health Services and Saskatoon Police collision investigators were called around 1:30 p.m. on Monday to the foot of the bridge, on the Nutana side.
The bridge was closed as police conducted an investigation.

A Ford Escape, with one person inside, and a Mini Cooper with two occupants, a 57 year-old man, and a 63 year-old man, had collided head on.
They were taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

A 26 year-old man in the other vehicle was put into the back of a police cruiser.
He now faces two charges of impaired driving causing bodily harm and two charges of driving while having a blood alcohol level over .08 causing bodily harm.
