Saskatoon police have issued an arrest warrant for a man they believed is responsible for a stabbing on Jan. 11.
Abirawan Aninda Khan, 20, is described as being five-feet nine-inches tall, with a slim build, long brown hair and a beard. His right arm and shoulder are heavily tattooed.
It is in relation to a stabbing in the 300 block of Sixth Avenue North around 5:50 a.m on Jan. 11.
Police arrived a found a 22-year-old man who said he had been stabbed. His injuries were believed to not be life threatening.
The man stated he had been in a physical altercation inside an apartment, the suspect had stabbed him and then fled before police could arrive.
Although the victim and suspect were unknown to each other, police don’t believe it was a random incident.
