A 25-year-old man attacked with a machete in his own home suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries.
According to police, two men broke into a home on the 1500 block of Avenue B North around 2:40 a.m. Saturday.
The 25-year-old told police the two men armed with a handgun and a machete demanded money.
Police said when the man tried to run from his residence he was assaulted with the machete.
The suspects are described as Indigenous men around 32-years-old with bandannas over their faces at the time of the incident.
The first man is approximately six feet two inches tall and weighs 280 pounds.
Police said the second man is five feet six inches tall and weighs 150 pounds.
