Saskatoon police are searching for a 24-year-old man after he allegedly offered teenage girls drugs in exchange for sex through a social media app.
Police said in a release Monday the activity began in April, when the man started conversations with underage girls through an app and allegedly arranged for sexual favours in exchange for drugs and money.
The investigation started after officers were alerted to possible luring on the app, along with a criminal complaint made by a 17-year-old girl.
A second alleged victim was identified during the investigation, and police said they believe the activity may not have been isolated. Anyone with similar experiences is being asked to contact investigators.
Alexander Tokaryk, 24, is charged with two counts of luring a child, one count of drug trafficking in heroin, methamphetamine and cannabis, along with one count of unlawful distribution of cannabis.
Tokaryk is described as six feet tall, weighing 275 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact police at 306-975-8300.
