A Saskatchewan inmate is at large after walking away from a treatment centre.
Spencer Norris Bear, 47, walked away from the Métis Addictions Council of Saskatchewan Inc. (MACSI) Treatment Centre in Saskatoon on Thursday evening, Yorkton RCMP said in a media release.
Bear was on leave from the Whitespruce Provincial Training Centre in Yorkton and was last seen in Saskatoon around 8:45 p.m.
He is described as Indigenous, standing five feet eight inches tall, weighing 145 pounds with a slender build, brown hair and brown eyes.
Bear, deemed low risk by RCMP, has a scar on his left cheek and a tattoo on his left hand.
