Saskatoon police lay murder charge in July death of pregnant woman

Saskatoon police have charged 39-year-old Jonathan Alexander Rosenthal with second-degree murder and indignity to a human body in the death of Crystal McFadyen.
The 37-year-old woman, who was also known as Crystal Louis, was eight months pregnant when firefighters who responded to a fire at 229 Avenue F N. discovered her remains on July 6.
Police deemed the fire suspicious and Rosenthal was charged with arson a few days later.
At the time of the fire, sources told 650 CKOM Rosenthal and McFadyen were in a relationship.
